The Total Health Academy of Bodywork and Massage Therapy (TTHA) offers students interested in Bodywork and Massage Therapy a thorough look at competitive occupational skills through the Soft Tissue Recovery (STR) Program of study. STR provides a focused environment with advanced theory and research, to develop a personal occupational approach with experienced leadership. TTHA offers both Basic and Advanced Certification courses with combined 1,040 hours available of STR study.
TTHA is owned, operated, administered and directed by Sheri DuBois. The TTHA philosophy implements multiple exposure learning formats essential as cornerstones of soft tissue work. Students gain initial exposure with preparatory material prior to lecture. This strategy develops a mature approach to studies, goal setting and initiating action.

Over 15 years experience in bodywork, massage, and post secondary instruction brings student learning to the forefront of her program. The rewarding field of manual therapy continues to evolve with the next generation of bodywork and massage professionals influencing the direction of that evolutionary target through research.
The School is located at 201 B Colorado Avenue, La Junta, CO, 81050. Classroom and lab bays are furnished with modern equipment. There are computer and online programs, charts, diagrams and videos for enhanced classroom activities. The Resource Center Library, developmental study and career guidance are available to all students. TTHA has public parking across the street, is located within a short distance of over five lodging options, is four blocks from the public library, and less than three blocks from five varieties of restaurant/café.
Program & Certification Courses Offered
TTHA offers a beginner’s course of study with Basic Bodywork and Massage Therapy Certification, as well as Soft Tissue Recovery, Advanced Bodywork and Massage Therapy Certification which further allows the Basic Certification graduates to take one, many, or all of the individual certifications that meet their career objectives. Advanced Certification courses are also offered as practitioner continuing education for professional development and CE renewal requirements.
Basic: Bodywork and Massage Therapy Certification, 540 Hour Course.
Advanced: Soft Tissue Recovery Certification, up to 500 Hours, 25 Certifications. Classroom, or Distance Learning through correspondence are available.
Distance Learning: The first 20 Advanced Certification courses are available as Stand Alone and/or CE course work.
